After his talks with Putin, Erdogan says it would soon be possible to revive a grain deal that, according to the United Nations, had helped to ease a food crisis by getting Ukrainian grain to market.
The UN and the Turkish president, who previously played a significant role in persuading Putin to stick with the deal, are both trying to get the Russian leader to return to the agreement.
