An assassination attempt on a Russian-backed official in occupied Ukraine has left a man in hospital, according to reports, but it is unclear who.
The Ukrainian intelligence agency SBU bombed the home of Yuriy Afanasievsky, chief of customs in what Russia has called the “Luhansk People’s Republic”, reported independent Ukrainian outlets Hromadske and Ukrainska Pravda.
