Gov. Katie Hobbs says she does not believe that she or any other state official has the right to keep embattled former President Donald Trump off the presidential primary ballot.
Several states have been looking at using the 14th Amendment to do so.
The Civil War-era constitutional amendment bars anyone who engaged in an insurrection or rebellion against the government from holding federal office.
Hobbs says how that plays out in Arizona is a judicial matter.
