A veteran radio host has slammed youngsters attending Schoolies celebrations for refusing to ‘get pissed’ through the week of heavy partying. 

Child boomer Mick Molloy, from Triple M’s Mick & MG Within the Morning, slammed the ‘little p***ks’ who have been selecting to stay sober on nights out. 

‘What has occurred? What has occurred to our nice nation with its nice traditions? Youngsters getting hammered, up north, a ceremony of passage,’ the host mentioned. 

‘And impulsively, no, no we do not need to do this.’

Molloy famous the variety of arrests and drunk-and-disorderly incidents had dropped at this 12 months’s Schoolies celebrations.

‘That is speculated to be a month of Vodka Cruisers and Bacardi Breezers. And what I am listening to is nothing,’ he continued. 

‘And what I examine it to, after all, like all us older people do, is to the great outdated days. 

‘Nothing is pretty much as good because it was once we have been going round.

‘But when these little p***ks refused to get pissed after they’ve bought a free trip to take action, I inform ya, this nation is cooked.’

Aussies shared their ideas on Schoolies ingesting habits within the feedback. 

‘I’ve undoubtedly spoken to much more 18-year-olds that do not need to drink. Really feel like it will likely be checked out like smoking in 20 years,’ one mentioned. 

‘All the brand new Schoolies are pussies,’ a second wrote. 

A 3rd shared: ‘Costs are loopy although, most of those youngsters spend $1k on resort and flights/taxis then it is one other $200 an evening on drinks and meals.’

‘Is not all the things mentioned about schoolies a great factor although? Much less arrests, not many drunken disorderly teenagers operating amuck?’ a fourth mentioned.

Others shared drunken reminiscences from their very own Schoolies weeks. 

‘2003 Schoolies was off the chain, glad youngsters are a little bit extra switched-on than we have been,’ one commented.

‘Schoolies 2017, it is one I am going to always remember but in addition one I am unable to bear in mind,’ one other mentioned.

A 3rd wrote: ‘I used to be sleeping on the road in 2016 on Schoolies lol.’
