Alex Batty: Police launch probe into ‘kidnapping’ of British teen as he returns to the UK six years after he went lacking

Police have launched a probe into the alleged kidnapping of Alex Batty after he returned to the UK six years after first going lacking.

Better Manchester Police have interviewed the 17-year-old following his six-year ordeal and are actually investigating the alleged abduction.

Alex escaped France final week to return to the England after his mom Melanie Batty and her father David allegedly took him in 2017. 

The college boy spent the following six years residing a nomadic hippy way of life, touring throughout Europe together with his mom and grandfather.   

Earlier this month, Alex made a daring midnight sprint to flee – and has now been reunited together with his grandmother Susan Caruana, 68, at her household residence in Oldham, Better Manchester. 

Alex has since returned to the UK and has been interviewed by police in Manchester

The information comes as Alex final evening broke his silence on his time away and his mom, who he stated did not need him to be a ‘slave to the system’, forcing him to reside a nomadic existence, transferring between houses in Europe together with a commune within the French Pyrenees mountains.

Alex advised The Solar: ‘She’s a superb particular person. However she’s simply not an ideal mum. She simply does not do motherly issues that you just’re speculated to do. She’s not very heat and open.’

British police beforehand stated they’d not be capable of verify an investigation into his alleged abduction till they’d spoken with him instantly. 

Alex returned to Oldham, Better Manchester, final weekend and has since spoke to officers from Better Manchester Police, The Solar has reported.
