BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON — A girl was rescued out of Massive Cottonwood Canyon after police say she was critically injured in an avalanche Monday afternoon.
About 1:30 p.m., emergency crews have been dispatched to the canyon after a report of an avalanche close to Little Water Peak that had injured at the very least one particular person, Unified Police Sgt. Aymee Race mentioned.
