MIDVALE — A person was arrested Monday after police say he broke into a house apparently at random and threatened the house owner with a gun, then tried to flee on TRAX.

Tarus Artez, 54, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of aggravated theft, aggravated housebreaking, aggravated assault, interfering with an arrest and possession of a gun by a restricted individual.
