The household of a younger girl killed in a horror bus crash in Brisbane’s busy CBD has revealed the teenager’s heartbreaking closing message.

Tia Cameron was killed when an out-of-control commuter bus mounted a packed footpath about 5pm on Friday, pinning the 18-year-old in opposition to the wall.

Ms Cameron’s devastated aunt, Karma Te Awithu, stated the teenager had left a magnificence salon and was on her battle to have cocktails along with her relative when tragedy struck.

‘We simply really feel like she’s been stolen from us,’ Ms Te Awithu instructed the Courier Mail.

‘She messaged me at 4pm saying she was getting her lashes achieved and asking if I needed to catch up for a fast cocktail earlier than she headed dwelling.’

It wasn’t till about 11pm that night that police arrived at a relative’s home to ship the heartbreaking information.

‘She was solely 18 and had her complete life forward of her,’ Ms Te Awithu stated.

‘She was lovely, outgoing and distinctive, actually distinctive. She beloved the seashore, the Gold Coast, vogue and … was actually shut with all of her household.’

The Brisbane Metropolis Council bus is known to have been turning off Ann St and onto Edward St within the metropolis’s CBD when it misplaced management.

In a press release, police stated the driving force of the bus and 4 passengers sustained minor accidents and have been taken to a close-by hospital for evaluation.
