UFC legend Mark Coleman was hospitalized Tuesday after saving his mother and father from a home fireplace in Ohio, his daughter wrote in a social media put up.
Morgan Coleman added that her father suffered from smoke inhalation throughout his heroic efforts in Toledo. Sadly, she stated, he was unable to avoid wasting the canine, named Hammer.

Mark Coleman, a Fremont, Ohio, native, represented the U.S. within the 1992 Olympics and joined the UFC in its infancy. He turned the primary UFC Heavyweight Champion with a submission victory over Dan Severn at UFC 12 in 1997.
