An XL Bully has been killed by armed police after happening a rampage and injuring 4 individuals in Battersea.
Met Law enforcement officials raced to the scene close to Battersea Park Highway at 10pm on Monday following studies that an XL Bully ‘was attacking individuals’ on the street.
Officers took the ‘troublesome choice’ to shoot the ‘dangerously uncontrolled’ because of the risk that it posed to the general public.
4 males have been later taken to hospital with non-life threatening accidents following the horrific assault.
A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old lady have been arrested on suspicion of being the proprietor/particular person answerable for a canine dangerously uncontrolled and each stay in custody.
A Met spokesman stated: ‘Police have been referred to as to studies of a canine – described as an XL Bully – that was dangerously uncontrolled and attacking individuals within the neighborhood of Residence Highway, SW11.
‘As a result of risk posed to the general public by the canine, armed officers attended. After assessing the scenario, officers took the troublesome choice to destroy the canine and it was shot.
‘4 males – all members of the general public – have been taken to hospital for therapy to accidents sustained in the course of the canine assault. None of their accidents are life-threatening.
‘Officers subsequently arrested two individuals – a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old lady – on suspicion of being the proprietor/particular person answerable for a canine dangerously uncontrolled. Each stay in custody.
‘Enquiries proceed to determine the circumstances of the incident. An examination of the canine will happen to determine its particular breed.
