Guardian Sport was honoured with plenty of awards on the prestigious SJA British Sports activities Journalism Awards in London, with Donald McRae successful each specialist correspondent of the 12 months and have author of the 12 months and Jonathan Liew being named columnist of the 12 months for the third time operating and for the fourth time in six years. The judges praised Jonathan’s “perception, originality and use of language”.
