ST. GEORGE — Two 22-year-olds have been arrested over the weekend after police say they destroyed a brand new radar pace show signal and connected trailer in Hurricane, Washington County, in keeping with police.

Daniel Stanton McAtee, of Toquerville, and Ryler Pearce Farnsworth, of Hurricane, have been arrested Sunday following an incident reported Saturday night time involving a pace regulatory trailer that was reportedly destroyed with a baseball bat, police say.

The trailer powers a radar pace show signal that alerts motorists of their pace. It was arrange on the intersection of 700 West and 400 North in Hurricane.

A video capturing the incident was turned over to police and confirmed two males placing the big LED display, in addition to the trailer and electronics, with a baseball bat, which demolished the complete system, in keeping with courtroom paperwork. The boys have been then seen fleeing the scene in a pickup truck, police stated.
