A teenage woman has recalled how she survived a terrifying shark assault that left her with ugly accidents that required over 160 stitches. 

Brooklyn Sauer, 14, was bitten by a shark 200metres from the shoreline at Nielson Seashore at Bargara, in Queensland’s Bundaberg area, on March 15. 

Ms Sauer had been visiting her native seaside with a buddy for a fast dip after college when she abruptly felt herself being pulled underwater. 

She obtained a single chunk to her torso and as much as 40 puncture wounds on her again, stomach and thighs which required greater than 160 stitches. 

Her father Brett Sauer then obtained a cellphone name no dad or mum ever desires to obtain.

He was instructed to hurry to the surf life saving membership’s first help room as a result of his daughter had been attacked by a shark. 

{The teenager} was rushed to Bundaberg Hospital earlier than she was airlifted to the Queensland Kids’s Hospital in Brisbane to endure surgical procedure.

Ms Sauer revealed she did not know she had been bitten till she noticed the wound. 

‘I did not actually consider it was occurring, I used to be in shock,’ she instructed Seven’s Dawn.

Ms Sauer, who’s a reliable swimmer as a member of her native surf membership, swam 200metres into shore to obtain assist. 

The teenager later revealed the shark had come out of nowhere.
