Endangered California condor chicks hatched in LA


Endangered California condors are a part of a restoration program that goals to launch them into the wild.

Zoos within the state work intently with the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a part of the California Condor Restoration Program after the species virtually went extinct within the 80s.

Now each condor chick born in captivity begins a strategy of adaptation in the direction of launch in a protected space.
