MLB introduced veteran reliever Aroldis Chapman has been suspended two video games after his heated argument with a house plate umpire who ejected him.
“Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Aroldis Chapman has acquired a two-game suspension and an undisclosed high quality for his inappropriate actions within the backside of the eighth inning of Monday evening’s sport towards the New York Mets at Citi Discipline,” Michael Hill, MLB senior vice chairman for on-field operations, stated in a press release.
“Until appealed, the suspension of Chapman is scheduled to start on Friday, when the Pirates are to host the Boston Pink Sox at PNC Park. If Chapman elects to file an enchantment, then the self-discipline might be held in abeyance till that course of is full.”
