Mr Ness, 46, mentioned his son grabbed the tail and reeled it into the boat.
‘He then went to choose it up for a photograph and as he picked it up it swung round and grabbed maintain of his leg,’ he advised Adelaide Now.
‘I noticed the shark latched onto him and I noticed bits of fats squish out of his leg… it was horrible.’
The teenager shouted ‘get it off, get it off’ earlier than his dad reached down and pulled its mouth open and it let go.
‘I began the boat and drove it again in whereas Nathan was on the cellphone to the ambulance.’
He then wrapped ‘some old-fashioned pants’ across the two giant gashes on his leg.
