A person has died after he was discovered by police wandering alongside a rural freeway with critical accidents to his arm.

The 43-year-old was discovered stumbling alongside the Mid Western Freeway in Cowra, in NSW’s central west, simply after 10.30pm on Tuesday.

Officers got here throughout him after they have been requested to attend a property for a welfare examine.
