PROVO — One particular person was killed in a automotive crash in Provo Canyon close to Bridal Veil Falls on Thursday afternoon.

Utah Freeway Patrol stated the crash occurred about 4 p.m. when a Chevy Cobalt heading down the canyon in heavy rain misplaced management. UHP Lt. Cameron Roden stated the automotive spun into the eastbound lanes, and a Kia Sorrento hit the motive force’s aspect of the Chevy.

The person driving the Chevy was transported to a hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless. The Kia driver was taken to a hospital with average accidents.

Roden stated the eastbound lanes are closed, and the westbound lanes are getting used for journey in each instructions.
