UTA officer hospitalized after struggling medical downside throughout chase

SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah Transit Authority police officer was hospitalized Sunday after he suffered a medical downside throughout a pursuit.

The officer was chasing a lady on foot close to 160 W. 2100 South, near the Central Level Station, when he suffered a medical incident, stated UTA spokesman Carl Arky. He was transported to Intermountain Medical Heart. The officer by no means made contact with the lady, however she was later taken into custody.

A number of cops responded to the scene after a name went out of an officer down.

No different data was supplied concerning the officer. His situation was unknown.

TRAX service within the space was not interrupted.
