77-year-old man significantly injured in Kane County crash; deputy’s automobile struck whereas responding

MOUNT CARMEL JUNCTION, Kane County — A 77-year-old man on a trike motorbike crashed into the guardrail whereas touring north on state Route 89 a number of miles south of Mount Carmel Junction on Monday, in keeping with the Utah Freeway Patrol.

UHP Lt. Cam Roden stated the person suffered critical accidents, together with damaged bones and “inside accidents.”

Whereas doing visitors management on the scene, a deputy’s car was struck by a passing RV, which precipitated “very, very minor” injury, Roden stated. The deputy was not within the car on the time and was not injured.
