A young person was rescued Saturday after falling some 400 ft down the aspect of a canyon on the Excessive Metal Bridge, some 98 miles southeast of Seattle, the Mason County Sheriff’s Workplace says.

The workplace credit its Particular Operations Rescue Workforce in addition to space firefighters for a rescue that left the teenager, 19, with “solely minimal accidents,” addilng that “We’re grateful for his or her swift {and professional} response.”

The bridge, which spans the south fork of the Skokomish River, has a deck that is 375 ft above the water.
