A person is on the run after a horror two-vehicle crash killed one other man who was travelling in a rideshare automotive. 

The 30-year-old man died after a Ford Mondeo sedan and a Toyota Camry collided on the intersection of Boundary Street and Progress Street at Wacol, 22km south-west of the Brisbane CBD, at 2.15am on Tuesday. 

Paramedics rushed to the scene however the man couldn’t be saved.

The motive force of the rideshare automotive, a 42-year-old man, suffered again accidents and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Ladies’s Hospital in a secure situation. 

A 26-year-old girl – one other passenger contained in the Camry on the time of the crash – was additionally taken to hospital to be handled for chest and stomach ache.

The motive force of the Ford Mondeo allegedly fled the scene, with police launching a manhunt to find the person. 

Queensland Police have urged the person to return ahead as detectives from the Forensic Crash Unit conduct investigations into the incident.
