Mets’ Jorge López blames media for misconstruing phrases after on-field outburst


New York Mets pitcher Jorge López appeared accountable the media for allegedly misconstruing his phrases whereas speaking to reporters following an outburst leaving the mound on Wednesday.

López appeared to say the Mets had been “the worst group in most likely the entire f—ing MLB.” However, on his Instagram Tales, López wrote he was speaking about himself being the worst teammate.

“Who ever hear me I mentioned teammate and what I mentioned on the scenario I been the worst teammate,” he wrote, “thanks media for make it worse.”

The Mets dropped one other recreation Wednesday – this time with the Los Angeles Dodgers ending off a sweep. The rating was tied 3-3 earlier than the Dodgers scored six runs within the eighth.
