A timelapse captures a surprising view of this week’s partial lunar eclipse on Tuesday, 17 September, as seen from Alabama.
Russ McKinney, who created the video, mentioned he used virtually 3000 pictures, taken each 5 seconds, to compose the timelapse.
He mentioned the clip begins simply because the Moon rises, inflicting the orange tint, and finishes because the eclipse ends.
The uncommon partial lunar eclipse coincided with a supermoon, which appeared larger and brighter on Tuesday night time.
The eclipse occurred with round 4 per cent of the Moon’s disc lined in darkness.
