Frankie Dettori posts photograph from his hospital mattress and divulges he is dislocated his shoulder after being thrown from his horse on the beginning gate

Legendary jockey Frankie Dettori has revealed that he has dislocated his shoulder as he posted a photograph on social media from his hospital mattress.

The famous person jockey was using at Aqueduct racetrack in New York, when he was thrown from his horse on the beginning gate on Thursday. 

In a message on social media, he wrote: ‘I recognize all of the messages. I’m doing OK! I dislocated my proper shoulder – my group right here within the hospital have put it again collectively.

‘Thanks for the messages of concern, it means lots.’
