‘Mohamed Al Fayed was a monster’: Tycoon’s ‘huge net of abuse’ laid naked by attorneys as Harrods is accused of an ‘abject failure of duty’ – because it emerges accusers wanted psychiatric care after rape and intercourse abuse

Attorneys representing the previous Harrods staff who declare they had been raped and sexually assaulted by late billionaire Mohamed Al Fayed have described him as ‘a monster’ as they laid naked in the present day his ‘huge net of abuse’.

Barrister Bruce Drummond instructed a press convention: ‘This is among the worse circumstances of sexual exploitation that I and maybe the world has ever seen.

‘It was horrific, simply horrific. It is horrific due to the acts carried out on these ladies and women.

‘It was horrific as a result of it was the system that procured them, enabling the abuse of those younger ladies and its horrific, as a result of the impact this sexual abuse and of Harrods’ institutional betrayal have had on our purchasers.’

This can be a growing story.
