Why Scott Hamilton Is not going to Bear Procedure for 3rd Brain Tumor

Scott Hamilton is offering fans an update about on his wellbeing.

The Olympic figure skater, who received a gold medal at the 1984 game titles, shared that a pituitary tumor in his brain has returned for a 3rd time—and he won’t be trying to find treatment method.

“When they gave me the diagnosis, they said, ‘It’s back,'” the 65-calendar year-old told Persons in an interview revealed Feb. 21. “And so they brought in this man, a really youthful, talented surgeon, and he mentioned, ‘We could do the medical procedures all over again. It’d be challenging, but we’ve obtained seriously gifted persons in this article that we could convey in, and I know we could pull it off if that is an option for you.'”

Having said that, the Earth Figure Skating Championship winner—who experienced the surgical treatment in 2004 and 2010—already understood that he didn’t want to go by it yet again.

“All I felt was just, will not worry about this. Just go property and get powerful,” he explained. “They go, ‘Well, what do you want to do?’ And I explained, ‘I consider I am heading to go household and get sturdy.'”
