United Airlines CEO Speaks Out Amid Numerous Protection Incidents

United Airlines is not winging it when it arrives to protection.

Soon after a series of terrifying incidents—on March 15, a panel was found out missing from yet another Boeing plane—the airlines’ CEO Scott Kirby spoke out to reassure passengers every thing will be Ok.

“Security is our optimum priority and is at the heart of every little thing we do,” Kirby wrote in a March 18 assertion. “Regrettably, in the previous several weeks, our airline has experienced a range of incidents that are reminders of the relevance of basic safety. Though they are all unrelated, I want you to know that these incidents have our interest and have sharpened our focus.”

This thirty day period, four incidents befell United flights, all of which applied Boeing aircrafts. In Houston, a Boeing 737-900ER poured flames from an engine just after takeoff and a Boeing 737 Max slid off the runway. In the meantime, in San Francisco, a Boeing 777 lost a wheel during takeoff comma and while leaving Sydney, a Boeing 777 trailed hydraulic fluid.

“Our workforce is examining the details of each and every case to realize what took place,” Kirby continued in his statement, “and using individuals insights to tell our safety coaching and methods throughout all personnel teams.”
