Why Shawn Johnson’s Little ones Are Excited for Their Journey to the Olympics

Attending the 2024 Olympics in Paris this summer time, Shawn Johnson East and spouse Andrew East are stoked to root on their fellow American athletes as they attempt feats in basketball, cycling, swimming and, of system, gymnastics. 

Their young ones, in the meantime, are typically cheering for Mickey Mouse. 

“I do not believe they’re going to appreciate or recognize any of it,” the Olympic gymnast, who still left the 2008 Online games with a few silver medals, in addition gold in the stability beam, instructed E! News in an unique interview. “Which we fully grasp. We are going to Disneyland Paris. I think they are most enthusiastic for that.” 

Perfectly, at least Drew, 4, and tiny brother Jett, 2, are voicing their thrill around the chance to fulfill up with Elsa and Cinderella. Minimal brother Bear, who joined the den Dec. 12, is largely just along for the ride. 

Even though Shawn acknowledges “it’s comical that we’re going all the way to Paris to go to Disney,” she’s hopeful her squad will soak up a bit of the pink, white and blue spirit at the Game titles. “I feel they will love the significant inexperienced grasses,” joked the 32-calendar year-previous, “and I could see my children enjoying, like, diving, a little something sort of insane, but I will not know.”
