Kirsten Dunst is sorting out a schoolyard squabble on late-night TV.
The Academy Award nominee, 41, revealed that her and Jimmy Kimmel’s sons had a disagreement in their kindergarten class as she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
She said they’re used to seeing each other at ‘circle time,’ as Dunst noted: ‘Our sons go to school together.’
Kimmel, 56 – who is wed to Molly McNearney – responded, ‘They had a fight, you know? Did you hear about this?’
‘Oh, I heard in our parent-teacher conference. Ms. Julie told me about it,’ said Dunst, who is the wife of Jesse Plemons.

According to Kimmel, both boys ‘cried,’ but Dunst said that was ‘the only drama,’ and they’re a ‘very sweet group of boys’
‘I think Billy was sitting in a chair and Ennis then went to maybe sharpen a pencil or something,’ she explained.
‘[He] came back, saw there was an empty chair and sat in it, and Billy came back and was mad that Ennis was in his chair,’ Dunst said.
Kimmel said he heard a ‘similar story,’ in which they ‘both cried.’
Dunst corroborated the story, adding: ‘It was the only drama, I heard. But they’re a very sweet group of boys.’
Kimmel and wife Molly are parents to daughter Jane, 9, and 6-year-old William ‘Billy’ John.
He also shares daughter Katherine and son Kevin with ex-wife Gina Maddy.

The Civil War actress said baby James is ‘out of control,’ and they call him ‘Jimmy’ when he misbehaves.

They previously left the kids with the sitter as they enjoyed a date night at the LA premiere of their A24 movie Civil War earlier this week; seen this week in LA
In the Alex Garland-helmed dystopian thriller, Dunst plays a military-embedded journalist racing to Washington DC before rebel factions descend upon the White House
She added that they call the toddler ‘baby Chris Farley’ because of ‘the way he walks around.’
‘He’s just hilarious. He is. He’s just like a crazy little dude,’ Dunst gushed.
Dunst and Plemons, 36, previously left the kids with the sitter as they enjoyed a date night at the LA premiere of their A24 movie Civil War earlier this week.
