Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan dons white peplum gown to reunite with co-stars Luke Newton and Jonathan Bailey at the season three premiere in NYC

Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, and Jonathan Bailey lead the glamour at the season three premiere of their Netflix hit soap Bridgerton, which was held at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan’s Upper West Side on Monday.

This year, the Irish 37-year-old’s character Lady Penelope Featherington takes center stage so she made sure to turn heads wearing a custom Danielle Frankel gown featuring a hip-exaggerating peplum cascading down to a dramatic train.

Nicola accessorized her off-the-shoulder dress with matching white pumps and opera gloves selected by her longtime stylist Aimée Croysdill.

It’s no coincidence that Coughlan wore green emerald jewelry with her bright red pout and Gaza ceasefire pin considering she was among 2K people to sign Artists for Palestine’s letter ‘demanding our governments end their military and political support for Israel.’

Hairstylist Halley Brisker coiffed the Big Mood star’s signature blonde locks in middle-parted waves.

Make-up artist Neil Young brought some color to Nicola’s alabaster complexion and he defined her bushy brows and applied lashes on her gorgeous baby blues.

Coughlan’s character Penelope is not only secretly social pamphlet author Lady Whistledown, she’s also courting her ‘mentor’ Colin Bridgerton (Newton) in season three.

‘She’s the most prolific gossip writer in London, and she’s rich as well that girl you know? Why would she stop?’ the SAG Award nominee told GMA3 hours earlier.

‘She’s got a good thing going.’

When asked if she gossips in real life, Nicola scoffed: ‘Yeah of course! Why not? People who say they don’t, I don’t trust them.’

Luke noted that Colin and Pen aren’t the ‘classic leads that we’ve seen previously’ in Shondaland’s critically-acclaimed, Gossip Girl-style period drama about Regency London high society, which has already been renewed for season four.

‘They’re not stoic,’ the 31-year-old Englishman explained.

‘They’re kind of like slightly awkward and a bit, you know, goofy at times so it’s really nice to see, like, this friends-to-lovers romance play out.’

The eight-episode third season of Bridgerton is divided in two with the first part premiering this Thursday and the second part premiering June 13 on the streaming giant.

On the blue carpet, Coughlan adoringly gazed up at Luke who was wearing a red Versace cropped blazer over a white Nehru-collared shirt, black trousers, and dress shoes selected by stylist Holly White.

Newton (born Atkinson) also posed with Jonathan, who just joined another huge film franchise ahead of his role as Fiyero in the two-part movie musical Wicked.

The 36-year-old Englishman – who plays Lord Anthony Bridgerton – wore a mesh white top beneath a matching double-breasted blazer, scarf, and trousers with black dress shoes selected by stylist Emma Jade Morrison.

Groomer Kristen Shaw made sure Bailey’s beard, hair, and complexion were ready for their close-up.

On Sunday, the Fellow Travelers star officially confirmed he had joined the cast of Jurassic World 4 with an April 9th snap of himself enjoying the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park ride, which was captioned: ‘Hold on to your butts!’

‘I am really excited. For so many of us, I know it’s just like an iconic cinematic experience,’ Jonathan gushed to ET on Monday.

‘I remember going [to the original 1993 film] with my family. It was the first cinema trip we all went on together. I’ve got three older sisters so I went when I was like five.’

Cracking up the Showstopper narrator on the blue carpet was his co-star Simone Ashley – who plays Lady Kathani ‘Kate’ Sharma – wearing a strapless silver-fringed Prada gown.

Nicola and the Shape of Things thespian made sure to pose with the brass – Netflix CCO Bela Bajaria; producers Tom Verica, Betsy Beers, and Shonda Rhimes as well as Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos and showrunner Jess Brownell.

Coughlan then changed into a silver-sequin long-sleeve dress fastened with a large black bow to attend the Bridgerton after-party, which was held at Central Park’s Tavern On the Green.

The Seize Them actress flashed her biggest smile while embracing fellow Netflix star – Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness – who wore a blue-ruffled high-low gown.

Nicola – who also stopped by CBS’ Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday – appeared to be the only one who changed for the after-party festivities.

Luke also caught up with his teenage co-star Will Tilston – who plays Gregory Bridgerton – wearing a sparkly silver suit.
