Boney Kapoor has indeed upheld himself as a doting parent for all four of his children, in the absence of their respective mothers, Mona Shourie and Sridevi. Boney Kapoor says he prefers not to speak about his family during his interviews
In a recent interaction with ABP Live, Boney Kapoor opened up about his habit of getting a bit carried away and reveals more than the necessary information about his family publicly during interviews. The filmmaker remarked how he has corrected himself on the mistake over the years and said:
“It has happened a lot of times. Whenever I sit down for an interview, I tell them that you just ask about me and not about family. Because sometimes, I get carried away and I say a lot of things. That’s when I say I am sorry, I made a mistake.”

Boney shares all of his children have scolded him about revealing too much about their personal lives
Moving forth in the conversation, Boney Kapoor then explained how at many moments, he ended up being scolded by his children, as they believe he has revealed too much about their personal lives without consent. Adding how he cried and apologised to all of them, Boney said:
“And they (my kids) say why do you have to speak so much? hey have scolded me, gotten upset with me. After getting upset, kids cried, I cried, I apologised, they said dad don’t say sorry. It has reached that height.”
Boney Kapoor reveals if he feels different when addressed by relation to the actors in his family
In the concluding segment of the interview, Boney Kapoor was asked about how he feels when someone addresses him by the relation he shares with his famous actor family members. Adding how he feels a certain sense of revel, Boney said:
“I have always revelled in this backhanded glory. I was first known as Anil Kapoor’s brother, then I was known as Sridevi’s husband. Now I am known as Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi, Khushi’s father and Sanjay’s brother. I revel in this. I enjoy this.”

When Boney stated that his kids motivated him to shed 15 kgs of weight
Previously, in an interaction with Connect FM Canada, Boney Kapoor addressed how he has been able to switch over to a healthier lifestyle after losing 15kgs of weight. He explained how not just with food, but also with regular workouts has he been able to get back in shape. Moreover, he credited his kids, Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi for not only taking care of his health, but also motivating him to get fit.
