“I never never talked about this before or even shared anything to do with it on social media,” he wrote alongside a series of images of his scalp.

He said that the issue began to spread and got a lot worse, to the point he eventually went to have it checked by a doctor.

“It was something called Folliculitis decalvans and [I] had to go on steroids and all [sorts] to stop it spreading,” he wrote.

“Then it gets worse again the whole back of my head had gone bald like literally whole back of my head had fell out. I literally hardly left the house and didn’t no what to do!!!”

Luckily, Beadle’s scalp eventually healed, however he continued on to explain that he was left with a lot of scarring and some bald patches where the hair wasn’t growing back.

”I started looking up a few things about it and the patches and if there was anything I could do,” he shared. “I’ve heard a little bit about SMP but never thought it would be some thing to help me .. it stands for SMP scalp micro pigmentation.”

Eventually after a bit of research, Beadle said he came across a man named Lynden and his business Inked Scalps after Lynden reached out with a few images of his previous work and some reviews from other customers.

“After seeing his work etc I was up for going to see him… after one session which hardly hurts almost feels like a light tattoo you could already see the scarring disappearing,” wrote Beadle.

“I had 2 more sessions and honestly I am so f—ing happy I hated the scars and patching and now… it’s like it never happened!”

He went on to explain that the post wasn’t an add, that he just wanted to spread awareness of SMP, saying that it “can be used for all sorts alopecia, male and female pattern baldness , receding hair lines, thinning & all types of densification.”
