After Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish three-day pre-wedding soiree in Jamnagar, Gujarat, the Ambanis are hosting another pre-wedding bash for the soon-to-be-married couple. The soiree, which started on May 29, 2024, is taking place on a luxurious cruise en route from Italy to France. Several celebrities from all walks of life have been invited to be a part of the celebrations. Their trip will culminate on June 1, 2024, in the picturesque city of Portofino, Italy.
Katy Perry to perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s cruise pre-wedding
Several reports have claimed that the globally renowned American singer-songwriter, Katy Perry, known for her songs like Dark Horse, Roar, Electric, and Harleys In Hawaii, will perform on the third day of Anant and Radhika’s cruise pre-wedding. The pop icon is expected to set the stage ablaze with her music at a stunning USD 50.9 million, approximately INR 424 crore, villa nestled in Southern France. This grand event will feature a masquerade ball on the evening of May 31, 2024. During Anant and Radhika’s first pre-wedding, popular singers like Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal and others performed.

According to The Sun UK, Katy Perry is receiving a cheque worth millions of dollars from the Ambanis for her performance at ‘Le Masquerade’. A source has disclosed to the publication that the 800 guests will disembark from the cruise, whose theme is ‘La vita e un viaggio’ (life is a voyage), for the big bash in Cannes. The 5-hour-long party will be headlined by Katy Perry, and after the performance, the guests will head for a fireworks show. The source added:
“They have invited 800 guests who are currently on a space-themed cruise around Europe, with stops in Barcelona and Genoa. It will arrive in Cannes on Friday for the big bash, which will be at a GBP 40 million estate. The party itself will only last five hours, but Katy will headline it, with a DJ also being flown in as part of the top-tier entertainment. Afterwards, guests will watch a huge fireworks display from a small armada of ships waiting in the Bay of Cannes. When they say there’s been no expense spared, they really mean it.”

Ambanis hosted the second pre-wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on a Rs 7.5K crore cruise
According to various media reports, the Ambanis are hosting the second pre-wedding bash on a celebrity-edge cruise worth a whopping USD 900 million, which is approximately INR 7,500 crore. Each of the suites on the cruise boasts luxurious amenities like spas, gyms, swimming pools and much more, and they cost around Rs 60 lakh each.

On May 29, 2024, the popular American band, Backstreet Boys performed at the cruise pre-wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. A clip from the event has gone viral, showing the boys, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, and Kevin Richardson, dressed in all-white outfits and performing their superhit song, I Want It That Way.
