Shia LaBeouf dotes on daughter Isabel, two, on RARE family trip to Disneyland with father Jeffrey, 76… but his wife Mia Goth is absent

Shia LaBeouf was in family mode on Tuesday when he took his young daughter and his father to Disneyland.

The 37-year-old actor — who is featured in Francis Ford Coppola’s buzzy Cannes-premiering comeback film Megalopolis — was spotted holding hands with two-year-old Isabel.

He also helped out by pushing his 76-year-old father Jeffrey LaBeouf’s wheelchair throughout the park.

LaBeouf’s on–off partner Mia Goth, 30 — who was last seen with him in January after they were previously not seen together for 10 months — was seemingly absent from the trip.

Shia was dressed casually in a set of attention-grabbing hot pink shorts and white graphic Indianapolis 500 T-shirt.

He sported a thick, dark beard and wore his blond-highlighted hair slicked black, and he blocked out the piercing light with dark sunglasses. 

The actor completed his theme park outfit with weathered white-and-gray trainers and tall white athletic socks.

He alternated between walking hand-in-hand with little Isabel and carrying her on his shoulders when the crowds got thicker.

She looked adorable in a white Minnie Mouse cap, pink pants and a white Spice Girls T-shirt.

At one point, Shia and his daughter took a break from catching rides to enjoy some ice cream.

They stopped to sit on a set of steps while enjoying a mixed swirl that was half pineapple-flavored Dole Whip. 

The actor welcomed his daughter with Mia Goth — whom he calls his wife though it is unclear if they are legally married — in 2022.

The couple had reunited after separating for two years, but they have only been sporadically seen together since then. 

Shia and Mia were not spotted together in public between March 2023 and January of this year, and they have not been seen together since the start of this year.

Shia appeared to have help from someone to push Isabel in a stroller at time as he hung close to his father Jeffrey, who switched from a manual wheelchair to an electric scooter.

He sported a long white beard that contrasted with his dark ‘Unsavory’ trucker hat and his navy blue military-cut jacket. 

Jeffrey had on a black-and-white striped shirt and wore dark blue jeans and sunglasses, along with comfortable black Crocs.

Shia’s father’s appearance was surprising, as he has been living in Costa Rica in recent years.

Jeffrey had been staying out of the US after previously admitting that he had grown ‘tired’ of the strictures and publicity that followed him due to Megan’s Law sex offender registry.

LaBeouf’s father was permanently added to the sex offender registry after his 1981 convictions for assault and attempted rape of a minor.

In 2020, DailyMail.com reported that Jeffrey might be able to have his name removed from the registry if he had not committed any subsequent crimes.

The elder LaBeouf has claimed to have kept his record clean since that his 1981 conviction, and he said in 2019 that he agreed to return to the US if his son ever received a major nomination.

Shia portrayed a fictionalized version of his own father in the 2019 drama Honey Boy, which was directed by Alma Har’el from Shia’s original screenplay.

In the film, he portrayed his father as an alternately negligent and abusive showbiz dad, but in 2022 he claimed on the Jon Bernthal’s Real Ones podcast that he had invented the on-screen abuse.

He described his portrayal as ‘f***ing nonsense’ and claimed: ‘My dad was so loving to me my whole life. Fractured, sure. Crooked, sure. Wonky, for sure. But never was not loving, never was not there. He was always there… and I’d done a world press tour about how f***ed he was as a man.’

The film was critically acclaimed at the time, but was negatively reevaluated after LaBeouf seemingly admitted to making up its most dramatic elements.

In 2022, Shia found himself involved in the seemingly never-ending drama surrounding the film Don’t Worry Darling, which starred Florence Pugh, Harry Styles and Chris Pine and was directed by Olivia Wilde, who also had a supporting role.

Shia was originally cast in the film as Florence’s on-screen husband, before he was replaced by Harry.

After abuse allegations were leveled against the Honey Boy actor by his former girlfriend FKA twigs, Olivia later claimed that she had fired him from the production due to his conduct on set.

She doubled down on those claims in a recent Vanity Fair profile, explaining, ‘My responsibility was towards her. I’m like a mother wolf. Making the call was tricky, but in a way he understood. I don’t think it would’ve been a process he enjoyed. He comes at his work with an intensity that can be combative. It wasn’t the ethos that I demand in my productions.’

She added, ‘I want him to get well and to evolve because I think it’s a great loss to the film industry when someone that talented is unable to work.’

LaBeouf denied Wilde’s claims that he had been fired and instead claimed that he quite the production.

The controversy came LaBeouf’s ex, the singer FKA twigs — who dated him from late 2018 until June 2019 — filed a lawsuit against him in December 2020, accusing him of sexual battery, assault and inflicting emotional distress.

She also accused him of knowingly giving her a sexual transmitted disease.

In an email to the New York Times shortly after the lawsuit was filed, LaBeouf admitted that he had been ‘abusive to myself and everyone around me for years,’ and also said he was addicted to alcohol.

‘I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say,’ he added.
