Shweta Bachchan had made it clear from the very beginning that her daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, would not act in films. Last year, Shweta Bachchan’s son, Agastya Nanda, made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s film, The Archies. This year, Navya’s podcast, What The Hell Navya 2, created her own fanbase, who loved her authentic self. It raised the murmurs of Navya acting in films again, and Shweta Bachchan addressed the question on her daughter’s behalf.

For those who don’t know, Navya is the granddaughter of legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. She started her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 26, and she also runs the NGO project, Naveli. Recently, during an event, Shweta Bachchan was questioned about Navya’s entry into films. To which, the young diva’s mother stated:
“I think you are very well acquainted with the work Navya does, and she has her hands full.”

Not only this, Shweta added that she doesn’t think Bollywood is for her daughter. Earlier, she also revealed that she doesn’t want her daughter to face trolling and unnecessary hate for her work, and she would never allow her to be part of films.
When Navya Naveli Nanda revealed she never got any Bollywood offers
Navya, who runs her own company called, Aara health, followed her mom, Shweta Bachchan’s footsteps and decided to stay away from the filmy world. In an interaction with Brut India, the star kid was asked if she has any upcoming films. To this, Navya revealed that she is not good at acting. and she doesn’t believe in doing something for the sake of doing it. She was quoted as saying:
“I think I am just not very good at it, to be honest. I don’t believe you should do something for the sake of doing it. One, you should do it if you are 100 percent passionate about it. It’s not something I am passionate about. I think I am doing exactly what I love doing. Two, I wouldn’t be very good at it. I think my skill set lies elsewhere.”
Navya was also asked if she had gotten any film offers, to which, Navya instantly said, “None”. She shared that people keep thinking that she has many film offers. However, none of them has ever come, and it is surprising.

Meanwhile, Navya is also making headlines for her rumoured love affair with Siddhant Chaturvedi. While the duo has not confirmed or denied it, their social media conversations and party pictures tell another story about their rumored love. In fact, their dancing video from Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash set the internet ablaze.
