Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan is all set to join the new league of actors in Bollywood. Well, the 31-year-old young lad will mark his promising debut titled Maharaj, that is backed by Aditya Chopra and the Yash Raj Films. The first look of the film is already out, where Junaid can be seen pulling off a never-seen-before avatar. For the unversed, the film that is slated to release on June 14, 2024 on Netflix, also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari Wagh in pivotal roles.
Junaid Khan shockingly shed 26 kgs for his debut film
While the world awaits to see Mr Perfectionist, a.k.a. Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid create wonders on the celluloid, one must acknowledge the earnest hard work put in by the soon-to-be-debutant actor. According to a report in Bollywood Bubble, Junaid has undergone a massive physical transformation, and has lost a massive 26 kgs of weight in two years to ace the requisite look for his film. Surely, by one look at the teaser glimpse of Maharaj‘s poster, we cannot help but notice the visibly chiselled physique flaunted by Junaid.

Well, Junaid Khan has been gearing up for a mega scale career in films, as even before his debut film has gotten released, the actor has a promising line up of forthcoming films. Apart from Maharaj, the young man has already completed the shooting of another untitled film with Tollywood diva, Sai Pallavi, which has been extensively shot in Japan. Moreover, if speculations are to be believed, he has been roped in for another mega scale project with Khushi Kapoor.
When Aamir Khan reflected about son, Junaid Khan’s reserved nature
Earlier, in an interaction with News18 Showsha, Aamir Khan opened up about his son, Junaid Khan’s career prospects, now that the latter is all set to follow his father’s footsteps and enter into showbiz. The talented superstar mentioned how Junaid is more like a schoolkid, who has a lot of knowledge but doesn’t feel like interacting much with the others.

Aamir revealed that Junaid hasn’t allowed him to buy a car for him
In the same interview, the doting father elucidated on a peculiar habit of his son, Junaid and remarked how the young lad hasn’t allowed his father to buy a new car for him. Adding how his son still prefers to commute by public transport, Aamir said:
“He is 30 now, and since his childhood, I wanted to buy a car for him. But to this day, he hasn’t allowed me to buy the car. He still uses public transport. He travels by bus and train.”
