Emily Ratajkowski wears short bobbed wig with micro bangs while filming with Michael Zegen on set of Lena Dunham’s upcoming series Too Much

Emily Ratajkowski was spotted shooting on set of Lena Dunham’s upcoming show Too Much on Monday.

The model, 32, was seen wearing a short bobbed wig with micro bangs while filming a scene with Michael Zegen, 45, on a bench outside of a Brooklyn coffee shop in New York City.

Dressed like her character Polly, she showcased her taut midriff in a fuzzy green, knit crop top, which she layered over a sheer, black shirt and neon yellow sports bra. 

Slung low on her hips, Ratajkowski also sported a pair of long denim shorts to go with her patterned rubber sneakers. 

The Gone Girl actress — who shared racy photos of herself modeling a barely-there bikini from her own swimwear line earlier in the day — donned gold chain necklaces around her neck and was also seen carrying a large tote bag with red straps.

For the role, she showed off a very long, bright red manicure and a glamorous makeup look. 

At one point, she appeared to be taking a break and stopped for a quick pick-me-up — a cup of iced coffee. 

She was then seen joining Zegen again to film a scene in front of the coffee shop. 

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star donned a graphic T-shirt with a yellow smiley face and black basketball shorts.

He also had a iced beverage in his hand as they chatted and shared a laugh on the bench. 

It was previously announced back in February that Ratajkowski would be making her return to acting for a minor role in the ten-episode comedy series helmed by Dunham.

At the time, it was reported that she was in talks to join the star-studded cast, which includes series leads, Hacks star Megan Stalter, 33, and The White Lotus actor Will Sharpe, 37. 

According to the logline, Too Much stars Stalter as Jessica, a New York workaholic in her mid-thirties.

While healing from a devastating breakup, she decides to move to London with ‘plans to live a life of solitutde like a Bronte sister.’

It is there when she meets Felix, who is played by Sharpe, and discovers an unusual connection with him despite his many red flags. 

The last line of the series summary reads, ‘Now they have to ask themselves: Do Americans and Brits actually speak the same language?’

The show is described as ‘an ex-pat rom-com for the disillusioned who wonder if true love is still possible, but sincerely hope that it is.’ 

Ratajkowski will reportedly be playing Felix’s ex-girlfriend Polly, who is said to be the exact opposite of Jessica. Zegen’s role in the series has not yet been revealed. 

Sharpe’s Felix is described to be ‘less Hugh Grant in Notting Hill and more Hugh Grant’s drunken roommate.’

While he’s not who Jessica expected to be attracted to, she still ‘finds that their unusual connection is impossible to ignore, even as it creates more problems than it solves.’ 

For the forthcoming rom-com, Dunham will be collaborating with the producers of Love Actually.

In addition to writing and directing, the Girls creator will also be co-executive producing with her husband Luis Felber — who created and produced new original music for the show. 

As production is still ongoing, a release date for Too Much has not yet been announced.
