Sanjeeda Shaikh has been dominating all the headlines, ever since she mesmerised millions of audiences with her graceful performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s hit series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Despite being a part of a multi-starrer series, Sanjeeda’s exemplary role as ‘Waheeda’ has been hailed for all the correct reasons. For the unversed, the actress took a giant leap of faith in the cine world after making a successful stint in the television space. In her personal life, Sanjeeda was previously married to actor, Aamir Ali. The couple is parents to their daughter, Ayra Ali. However, the duo got divorced in 2021, and the actress has been granted the sole custody of their daughter.
When Sanjeeda talked about the changes in Aamir Ali after their marriage
Well agree or not, there was a time in the golden past when Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali were the cutest couples on Indian television. The duo was madly in love with one another, and never failed to paint the town red with their mushy romance. It was in 2012 when she and Aamir tied the knot after dating for a long time. Back in 2016, in a joint interview with the Hindustan Times right after their wedding, Sanjeeda had revealed the changes she had witnessed in her husband, especially after they tied the knot. She had expressed:
“I have known him since the last 10 years. He has changed a lot after marriage. He was never an expressive person, and I think I have helped him become one. I am very vocal about what I feel, and wanted my partner to be like that as well. Now, he has become an expert in surprising me. For me, romance is all about spending quality time with your partner. When we were dating, after shooting for 16 hours, I would ensure that I spent at least one hour with him every few days a week.”

Aamir Ali had revealed the most special thing that he loves about Sanjeeda
In the same interview, Aamir Ali had also gone candid about what he simply loves about his beautiful wife, Sanjeeda, now that they had been married. The charming actor mentioned how he cherishes his better half’s optimistic outlook towards life, and credited her for making him even more romantic than before. He also spilled beans on that one habit of Sanjeeda which tends to irk him sometimes. In his words:
“I love her positive attitude towards life. It’s amazing. I hope she stops being so touchy. Perhaps it’s a girlie habit.”
Sanjeeda stated she loves Aamir’s honesty
In the concluding segment of the same interview, Sanjeeda had also revealed the qualities she loves and dotes on in her husband, Aamir Ali. She blushed and remarked how she loves the way he treats her and spoke highly about his honesty. Moreover, Sanjeeda revealed how her friends tell her that they wish to have a boyfriend or husband like Aamir in their lives as well. Calling him a cleanliness freak, Sanjeeda had said:
“I love his honesty, and the way he treats me. I want him to remain the way he is. My friends tell me that they want a boyfriend or a husband like Aamir. I would like him to be less hyper though. He is a cleanliness freak, which is good, but I am not as particular.”

Sanjeeda Shaikh claimed to feel blessed after her divorce from Aamir Ali
It has been about three years since Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali got divorced. Ever since, the diva has been enjoying every moment of her life as a single parent to her daughter, Ayra. In a recent interaction with Hauterrfly, Sanjeeda opened up about the same and revealed feeling lucky and blessed to be able to come out of the aftermath of her divorce. She expressed how she has been able to become a better version of herself ever since.
