Why Rachel Lindsay Regrets Not Getting a Prenup With Ex Bryan Abasolo

Rachel Lindsay is reflecting on her journey with Bryan Abasolo—including their divorce and why she wishes they bought a prenuptial agreement in advance of they got married.

“A ton of men and women are like, ‘You’re a law firm, do you have a prenup?'” The Bachelorette alum mentioned on the June 6 episode of fellow Bachelor star Natasha Parker’s podcast Concealed Gems. “I do not.” 

As for why Rachel and Bryan did not get one right before saying “I do” in 2019?

“The reason I didn’t is simply because the area that I am in now—financially, on the other hand you want to determine it—is thoroughly distinct than when I acquired married,” she stated. “We had been a lot more stage, and I was not in California. If I bought married in California—I know California is wild. It’s not in my favor all the time. It was just a unique time. So I wasn’t top with that.”

And even though the period 13 star pointed out she was open up to a prenup at the time, she indicated they did not see eye to eye on the matter. 

“We were not on the similar page with prenups,” she continued. “So I just failed to want it to be a even larger concern, so we failed to have a single. And you know, hindsight’s 20/20. I would have completed it. I suggest, I often needed to do it but, once more, we weren’t on the same web page when it came to that.”
