Dalljiet Kaur has been dominating the headlines with her personal life. For the unversed, the actress got married to the Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel in 2023, and only within eight months, things started getting sour, and the actress moved back to India with her son, Jaydon. After staying silent for a few months, Dalljiet finally opened up about her ugly separation through her cryptic posts and revealed how her husband had an extramarital affair and had even denied accepting their wedding. Nikhil, on the other hand, stated that their wedding was not legally bound by law. Amid this, Dalljiet’s friend and actress, Karishma Tanna reacted to all the fiasco and came in support of the actress.

For the unversed, Dalljiet Kaur has now taken legal action against Nikhil Patel, and a copy of the court’s order has surfaced online. Earlier, the Hindustan Times released a copy of the stay order, wherein it was mentioned that Nikhil was prohibited from evicting Dalljiet and her son, Jaydon, and even directed the businessman not to throw any of the actress’ belongings from her home in Kenya. The next hearing of this matter is on June 28, 2024, and there’s no denying that the stay order against Nikhil sparked the beginning of a new fight on Dalljiet’s part.

Sharing an IG post, Dalljiet’s friend and actress, Karishma Tanna slammed Nikhil. She mentioned how Nikhil had wronged Dalljiet. Karishma added that she will stand by her Qayamat Ki Raat co-star till the end. She also labelled Dalljiet as ‘strong’ and added that the latter would not take revenge but rather move on by letting karma do its work. Dalljiet reshared this post on her IG handle and penned:

Nikhil Patel stated that his and Dalljiet’s wedding was not legally bound
Amid Dalljiet posting cryptic notes on her IG handle, Nikhil sat for an interview with ETimes. Talking about this matter, he mentioned that his and Dalljiet’s wedding was not legally bound and had only cultural significance, as they got married according to the Hindu ritual. Nikhil also mentioned that the actress couldn’t cope with his lifestyle in Kenya, and there had been a lot of cultural clashes, thereby creating issues in their marital life. Nikhil also added that Dalljiet’s coming back to India marked the end of their marriage.

Dalljiet Kaur accused Nikhil Patel of extramarital affair
Dalljiet Kaur earlier had taken to her IG stories and posted a screenshot of Nikhil’s post, wherein he could be seen in the gym. However, what was noteworthy was that the actress had highlighted the initials ‘SN’ on that picture and attached several photos featuring the same initials. She also asked Nikhil how could he be so open on social media when his wife and son moved back to India only eight months after their marriage. The actress also requested Nikhil to have a bit of dignity for her and their kids.
