Nitanshi Goel On Her Wish To Become The Next Lady Shah Rukh Khan, Reveals ‘I Also Want To Won..’

The young actress, Nitanshi Goel was recently seen in the role of ‘Phool’ in Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Due to her stint, the 16-year-old gorgeousness gained immense popularity, and ever since the film’s release, she has been revealing an array of her wishes and experiences of working with many renowned actors in the film industry. Now, Nitanshi also revealed her wish to become the next Lady Shah Rukh Khan.

Nitanshi Goel expresses why she wants to become the next Lady Shah Rukh Khan

For the unversed, apart from Laapataa Ladies, Nitanshi Goel also worked in many movies like Vicky Donor, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Indu Sarkar, and Posham Pa, among others. During her recent appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, she discussed her future plans. Moreover, he expressed her desire to become the next Lady Shah Rukh Khan. She shared the reason for the same, and elaborated:

“Right now, I say this everywhere that in the next 5-6 years, however long it takes, I want to be the next Lady Shah Rukh Khan. The way he speaks, his interviews, the way he has won everyone’s heart, I also want to won everyone’s heart like him.”

Nitanshi on how she managed her studies while shooting for the film, Laapataa Ladies

In the same conversation, Nitanshi was asked how she balances her studies and shooting. To this, the actress at first revealed that she was in class 9 when the shooting of Laapataa Ladies was going on, and she gave her class 9 final exams, a day after the shooting ended. Citing the example, Nitanshi recalled that she used to carry her maths and science books on the sets to prepare for exams during the breaks. Moreover, the actress shared that her mom, a teacher by profession, used to teach her.

Further, Nitanshi was asked if she has been getting boys’ attention after the release of Laapataa Ladies. The actress jokingly disclosed that she has been getting many love letters in her mail. Sharing that her mother reads all her emails, Nitanshi was heard saying:

“My mom is complaining to me that, ‘Nitanshi I read your emails because you don’t and you’re getting love letters!’ Videos of mothers saying they want a girl like Phool Kumari. They’re calling me cute names, Phool Kumari, and Sajni, they also make National Crush video edits. This is flattering, I love it! I’m enjoying it, it’s cute!”

Afterwards, Nitanshi recalled how she could not sit for her class 11 finals as she was promoting her film, Laapataa Ladies, along with the entire cast. For the unversed, the Aamir Khan production film hit the theatres on March 1, 2024. Recalling how people at her school reacted to her movie, Nitanshi shared:

“So, I gave the exams later. During the exam, a teacher came to me and said, ‘You’ve done such good work!’ The invigilator, who was there, said, ‘Let her complete her exam then we all will get a chance to talk to her, click selfies with her and tell her how good she was.’ They all have rooted for me. I couldn’t tell them what exactly was the film I was doing earlier, but now that they’ve watched it I hope they’re proud of me.”
