And recently, the American pop artist left everyone in awe with his very special gesture towards his father-in-law and Priyanka’s father, late Ashok Chopra.
Nick Jonas shares how he feels deeply connected to late Ashok Chopra
The world celebrated Father’s Day on June 16, 2024. Taking to his IG stories, Nick Jonas dedicated two very special posts to the fathers in his life. While the first one was for his dad, Kevin Jonas Sr., the other one was for his father-in-law, Ashok Chopra. For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra lost her father back in 2013, and unfortunately for Nick, he never did get a chance to meet him. Nonetheless, Nick penned a special note for the late colonel, and expressed how he deeply feels connected to Ashok Chopra. Sharing a picture from Priyanka’s childhood archives with her father, Nick penned:
“Happy Father’s Day to my father in law Ashok Chopra. Although we never had the chance to meet in person I feel so deeply connected to you through you daughter and your grand daughter. We all love you very much.”

Nick Jonas assured himself to be an ideal guy to Priyanka’s mom, Madhu Chopra
Earlier, during a conversation with Filmygyan’s YouTube channel, Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, made some candid revelations about her son-in-law, Nick Jonas. She reminisced about the time when he came and asked her for her daughter’s hand. Madhu mentioned that Nick assured her that he was the ideal partner for her daughter. She mentioned:
“When he came to India and met me, he took me to lunch when Priyanka was not around. Nick asked me what kind of boy I would want for Priyanka. So, I listed all the qualities, and he simply took my hand and said, ‘I am that guy. Can I be that person? I promise that nothing from your list will be left unchecked.”
Madhu shared her perspective on Priyanka and Nick’s huge age gap
Moving forth in the same conversation, Madhu Chopra addressed the huge age gap between her daughter and her son-in-law. She added being amazed by Nick’s personality through and through, whereas she was also bothered by a lot of stories being spoken about the age gap between him and Priyanka. Adding how nothing more matters to her than her daughter’s happiness, Madhu mentioned:
“Koi farak nehi pada. Admi accha, ladki acchi, both care for each other, that’s all. Nothing. Maine uss nazar se dekha hi nehi. I was so happy, ecstatic. Bolne wale bolte rahe.”

When Priyanka talked about her cultural differences with Nick
Previously, sharing her thoughts on the Reading The Room podcast, Priyanka Chopra opened up about dealing with the cultural differences between her and her husband, Nick Jonas. The actress added that the two of them were in love with each other’s home countries primarily, and were even quite enthusiastic about embracing each other’s cultures.
