Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha has been making headlines for her upcoming wedding with her longtime boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal. The duo, who is all set to marry on June 23, 2024, released an audio invite for their wedding, which was leaked on the internet. Meanwhile, rumours are also rife that Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha is miffed with her sudden wedding plans. Amid all of this, Sonakshi delighted her fans by sharing glimpses of her intimate bachelorette bash.
Sonakshi Sinha drops glimpses of her bachelorette bash
On June 17, 2024, Sonakshi Sinha took to her IG stories and shared two photos seemingly from her bachelorette party. The actress looked oh-so-gorgeous in a sexy black dress with full sleeves and a deep neckline. Glam makeup and a bun hairdo completed her look. In yet another picture, Sonakshi was seen posing with her girl gang, including her close friend, Huma Qureshi. The bride-to-be was seen enjoying the night with her girl squad as she let her hair down in the picture. Sharing her solo photo, Sona captioned it with “17.06.2024”, but didn’t reveal if these pictures were from her bachelorette.

Pahlaj Nihalani revealed whether Shatrughan Sinha was upset with Sonakshi for her wedding with Zaheer
Meanwhile, in an interview with Times Now, Sonakshi Sinha’s mama, Pahlaj Nihalani, revealed that Shatrughan Sinha was upset about his daughter not informing him about her marriage to Zaheer. However, he mentioned that a parent cannot be angry with his/her children for long and with Sonakshi being a laadli, there is no question about Shatrughan not attending the actress’ wedding. In his words:
“Ha, but he can’t remain upset for long, not with Sonakshi. She is his laadli. Shaadi nahin attend karne ka koi sawaal hi nahi paida hota. As Shatruji said to you, aaj kal he bachche inform karte hain, permission nahin lete. Why should he be upset if Sonakshi is marrying the boy of her choice? Shatruji himself married a girl of his choice forty years ago. Even I chose my own life partner when I married my wife. One should not have unrealistic expectations from one’s children.”

Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Sonakshi Sinha’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, opened up about his daughter’s upcoming wedding and said that he would be very happy if the latter decided to get married and that she would always have his blessings. Shatrughan further added that Sonakshi is the apple of his eyes and he is proud of her acting journey. He also mentioned that if his daughter gets married, he will always support her decision.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s leaked wedding invite
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding invite has gone viral on Reddit. It featured an audio QR code with a sweet message from the couple. According to the leaked invite, the party will take place at Bastian in Mumbai, and the guests are requested to wear formal and festive attire. We could also see “the rumours were true” written on the card. The couple also asked the guests not to wear red, hinting that the bride-to-be will steal our hearts in a red lehenga. In the voice note, Zaheer and Sonakshi shared the tidbits of their wedding celebration, with the former confirming that they have been together for the last seven years. They expressed their excitement as they embarked on this new journey in their life and requested the guests to join them at the celebrations.
