Kevin Costner Breaks Silence on Jewel Romance Rumors

Kevin Costner might not be meant for Jewel.

The Yellowstone actor has finally addressed rumors that he’s dating the “You Were Meant For Me” singer, and it seems the two are far from in love.

“Jewel and I are friends,” Kevin said on the June 18 episode of SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. “We’ve never gone out.”

But that doesn’t mean the 69-year-old doesn’t care about the “Foolish Games” singer.

“She’s special,” he continued, “and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have.”

The Oscar winner—who’s dad to kids Annie, 40, Lily, 37, and Joe, 36, with ex-wife Cindy Silva; son Liam, 26, with ex Bridget Rooney; and kids Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14 with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner—explained that he met Jewel when they were invited to Richard Branson‘s private island in the British Virgin Islands, adding, “I got on a plane with nine people—Jewel was one of them.”

And despite having no love connection, Kevin did note that Jewel is “somebody I just had some tremendous conversations with.”
