Mia Goth reunites with fellow scream queens Halsey and Lily Collins at the Hollywood premiere of horror slasher MaXXXine

Mia Goth reunited with her fellow scream queens Halsey and Lily Collins at the world premiere of her horror slasher MaXXXine, which was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday.

The 30-year-old Independent Spirit Award winner – who opted for a backless black velvet halter gown – executive produced and stars as porn star-turned-actress Maxine Minx in Ti West’s three-quel set in Hollywood circa 1985.

Mia’s highlighted brunette waves cascaded down her back for her big event.

Aside from false lashes, Goth – who was cast in the Blade remake – appeared to go virtually make-up free for the film festivities.

The half-Brazilian, British beauty’s character is a fame-hungry, cocaine-snorting massacre survivor on the run from her televangelist father (Simon Prast) as well as the Night Stalker serial killer in the movie hitting US/UK theaters July 5.

However, Mia’s alleged commitment to her performance lead to a lawsuit in January from background actor James Hunter, who claimed she ‘bullied’ and ‘intentionally kicked’ him in the head while he was playing a bloody corpse on set.

Goth originated the role in Ti West’s $1M-budget critically-acclaimed 2022 hagsploitation flick X, about an old woman called Pearl murdering amateur pornographers on a Texas farm in 1979, which went on to earn $15.1M at the global box office.

The Suspiria alum pulled double duty playing both Maxine and Pearl (with help from substantial prosthetic make-up) in X, and then she co-wrote and produced the 1918-set prequel which the 43-year-old horror director shot immediately after X.

Pearl: An X-traordinary Origin Story – which also came out in 2022 – earned a bit less, $10.1M, at the global box office despite having a 92% critic approval rating (out of 194 reviews) and 82% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Mia looked thrilled to be joined on the red carpet by the 29-year-old pop star, who portrays her gal pal Tabby Martin in MaXXXine.

Halsey (born Ashley Frangipane) showcased her fit 5ft4in figure in a gold-sequin bra and thong illusion gown selected by stylist Lyn Alyson. 

The three-time Grammy nominee wore yellow eye shadow, likely from her About-Face Beauty brand, and she brought the disco realness wearing a voluminous curly black wig over her pixie cut. 

‘It’s all Mia. Mia is, like, a genius. Working with her was, like, so incredible. She’s just effortlessly cool,’ Halsey gushed on the red carpet.

‘But I think also because, like, she’s one of the first scream queens that’s just through and through a heroine the whole time. There’s no, like, victim [complex]. It’s just, “I’ll eat you. I’ll kill you.”‘

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old Emily in Paris star wore an elaborate necklace rather than a top beneath her powder-blue skirt suit and gold peep-toe heels selected by styling duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

Lily debuted a newly-chopped short bob courtesy of hairstylist Gregory Russell, who cut her long layers.

Collins – the nepo-baby of eight-time Grammy winner Phil Collins – portrays Molly Bennett, an actress in the film-within-a-film, The Puritan II.

When asked what made Maxine iconic, the Emmy nominee replied: ‘Oh my god, because she is the f***ing coolest. Because she doesn’t take no for an answer. She knows how to give the people what [they] want and she’s damn good at it.’

Towering over both Lily and Halsey was their 6ft3in co-star Elizabeth Debicki, who portrays The Puritan II director Elizabeth Bender in MaXXXine.

The Australian 33-year-old – who scored an Emmy nod for The Crown – bared her taut tummy in a silver chevron-stitched bra-top and matching trousers selected by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman.
