Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Director Kelli Finglass Addresses the Conversation on Entire body Impression
Material warning: This tale discusses having problems and depression.
For Victoria Kalina, becoming a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader arrived with a harrowing cost.
The fourth-year veteran mirrored on how she struggled deeply with her psychological overall health and entire body image when on the crew.
“I have hardly ever been open about it, but my despair turns into this poor cycle,” Victoria stated on Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders docuseries. “Each time I get into a negative despair, I turn to terrible coping skills, which brings about terrible consuming behavior. And as a dancer, the hardest issue you can fight are having issues plus despair.”
“I go through the cycle when that despair zone hits,” she continued. “It can be a binge-purge cycle. It is really a binge to get that feel-fantastic, that vacant experience stuffed once more. But then game time arrives, so then you gotta get into all those newborn garments, get into that baby uniform, and that cycle just retains heading.”
