Hollywood is stating farewell to a beloved actor.
Martin Mull—known for enjoying Leon Carp on Roseanne and Colonel Mustard in Clue—died on June 27, his daughter Maggie Mull shared on Instagram. He was 80.
“I am heartbroken to share that my father passed away at residence on June 27th, following a valiant combat towards a extensive health issues,” she wrote June 28. “He was recognised for excelling at each individual resourceful self-discipline imaginable and also for performing Purple Roof Inn commercials. He would locate that joke funny. He was never ever not funny.”
But humor apart, Maggie—who Martin welcomed with his 3rd spouse Wendy Haas—went on to share the unbelievable impact he had on all those he cherished.
“My father will be deeply missed by his spouse and daughter, by his mates and coworkers, by fellow artists and comedians and musicians,” she continued, “and—the indication of a certainly exceptional person—by a lot of, lots of canines. I loved him enormously.”
